Talmont Resort Improvement District

Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, 8:30 A.M.

Howard J. Perry Maintenance Station, 2010 Silvertip Drive

1.     CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order at 8:30am by Admin Supervisor Bugg Vokel.

Directors Present: Eileen Ilano, Mike Towne, Kristen Anderson, Jonathan Jochem and Nelson Rudolph by phone

Others Present: Bugg Vokel, Willie Dodge, Rick Dewante and Bill Bate

2.     ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO AGENDA – None

3.     PUBLIC COMMENT – None

4.     CONSENT CALENDAR
4.1 Motion to approve regular board & special board meeting minutes on October 15th & 22nd 2024, motion was approved unanimously
4.2 Motion to approve Paid Bills, motion was approved unanimously

5.     NEW BUSINESS                                                                                                                                                                                                      5.1     New board members Kristen Anderson, Jonathan Jochem and returning member Mike Towne were welcomed to the board, they were sworn in at 8:20am on December 10th, 2024                                                                5.2     The president position was voted on between Mike Towne and Eileen Ilano and was awarded to Eileen Ilano with a vote of 2-1

The Secretary position was awarded to Jonathan Jochem

The Vice President position was awarded to Mike Towne

6.     UNFINISHED BUSINESS
6.1     Gogolewski Update – Mr Gogolewski vented his frustration with the districts requirements for new water service. Gogolewski’s letter was received by the board and will be reviewed by legal. Action to appoint Jonathan Jochem and Nelson Rudolph on committee to review with legal and bring back the next steps to board members at next board meeting.

7.     ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT
7.1     Badger meter software and hardware was paid for and is in process to ship. Meter reading laptop was purchased and is now in TRID’s possession waiting for meter reading software programming.
Montclair tree removal went smooth and is completed.
Paperless billing was discussed and will be implemented in the 2nd quarter billing cycle.

8.     WATER MANAGERS REPORT
Everything is running smoothly, all generators are up and running ready for any power outages. The radios linking Montclair to Silvertip pump stations are up and running.

9.    SNOW REMOVAL  REPORT
We had a couple small storms. We had the grader controller malfunction but was quickly repaired and back up and running for the next storm.

10.  CORRESPONDENCE & DIRECTORS COMMENT’s
Mike Towne brought up setting up a meeting with a Placer County District 5 board of supervisors
Mike Towne requested to look into changing the regular board meeting dates and times.

11.  ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 10:14am
The site for the meeting is wheelchair accessible.
