Talmont Resort Improvement District

- CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 8:30am by Jim Henderson via zoom.
Directors Present: Jim Henderson, Kym Pipkin, Tim Schroeder, Larry Anderson, Eileen Ilano
Others Present: Libby Gregg, Rick Dewante, Willi Dodge & Mike Towne.
- ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO AGENDA:
In Accordance with Section 54954.2(b) of the Government Code (Brown Act) an item may be added to the agenda.
- PUBLIC COMMENT:
Any person wishing to address the Board of Directors on items of interest to Talmont Resort Improvement District not listed on the agenda may do so at this time. It is requested that comments be brief as possible, since no action may be taken by the Board on items addressed under Public Comment.
a. Mike Towne had some questions submitted too late to be added to the agenda. Conversation about getting members involved on the website.
- APPROVE MINUTES OF DEC 15, 2020 & JAN 28, 2021 & PAID BILLS:
It was motioned to approve the Dec 15 & Jan 28 minutes and paid bills, all in favor.
- OLD BUSINESS:
a. Skyline Generator Project/Tank Replacement-Working on permits, nothing to report until June.
b. Washoe Heights Water Co-Transfer has been finalized.
c. TRID Owner lot info-Conversation about TRID lot count, listed on tax roles under different names. Questions also regarding if lots are covered under our insurance.
Action: Libby to check on unimproved lot insurance coverage. Jim to call county and ask about names not coming up and Kym to call LeighAnn to see what see recalls.
Repairs to Well Pump #1-Snow is hindering efforts to get in and look at.
- NEW BUSINESS:
- ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT:
a. Budget needs to be created in the next month.
Action: Willi and Rick to report to Libby expected expenditures. Larry will help Libby with budget and we will report back to board when ready to review.
- SNOW REMOVAL REPORT:
a. Willi stated all the equipment is running well, loader is fixed after having a power problem; he has plowed a lot even used the blower. Willi is checking into contract to service all generators on one agreement.
- WATER MANAGER’S REPORT:
a. Monthly report-Rick reported no major issues.
- CORRESPONDENCE & DIRECTORS COMMENTS:
a. Concerns about water pressure.
Action: Rick to double check water pressure.
a. Garbage can for residents trash at shed not a good idea as people will abuse it.
The regular meeting was adjourned at 9:30am. The next meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2021 at 8:30am via zoom.
