Talmont Resort Improvement District

Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, 8:30 A.M.

Howard J. Perry Maintenance Station, 2010 Silvertip Drive

1.     CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order at 8:32 by President Ilano

Directors Present – Eileen Ilano, Mike Towne, Jonathan Jochem, Nelson Rudolph & Kristen Anderson

Others Present – Bugg Vokel & Willie Dodge

2.     ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO AGENDA: None

3.     PUBLIC COMMENT – None

4.     CONSENT CALENDAR

4.1     Motion to approve December 10th, 2024 board meeting minutes was approved by all.

4.2     Motion to approve paid bills was approved by all.

5.     NEW BUSINESS

5.1     Discussed moving regular board meetings to a different day, all came to an agreement to change upcoming board meetings to Wednesdays at 8:30am location would remain the same at 2010 Silvertip. Motion to approve change all approved

5.2     Mike Towne and Kristen Anderson met with Cindy Gustafson of Placer County not representing the board but getting insight with Placer County on many topics. The topics consisted of ownership of TRID lots, Water management, cell towers, fire wise, emergency evacuation plan, snow management, water tank issues, grants and safe refuge. Board requested a bullet point of items discussed.

6.     UNFINISHED BUSINESS

6.1     Jonathan and Nelson brought the board up to date on committee negotiations with TRID’s attorney and Gogolewski’s attorney. Their view was the negotiations were not going very well. And that TRID would need to vote on next steps in the next scheduled board meeting on March 5th, 2025

7.     ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT- Newsletters went out with first of the years billing. New form online was created to help customers sign up for paperless billing. Setting up date for new meter reading hardware on site training. Went over statement of facts and registry of public agency.

8.     WATER MANAGERS REPORT – No report

9.     SNOW REMOVAL  REPORT – Not much snow so focus was on routine maintenance. All equipment is ready for the storms to come. New chains were ordered for the loader and delivered.

10.  CORRESPONDENCE & DIRECTORS COMMENT’s – Mike Towne brought up bear traps being placed on TRID land.

11.  ADJOURNMENT – Meeting was adjourned at 9:42am
