Talmont Resort Improvement District Agenda

July 9th, 2024 –8:30am Howard J. Perry Maintenance Station

1.     CALL TO ORDER; : The meeting was called to order at 8:30am by Tim Schroeder. Directors Present: Tim Schroeder, Kim Pipkyn, Mike Town, Nelson Rudolph and Eileen Ilano was present by phone, Others Present: Rick Dewante, Willie Dodge, Bill Bate, Jimbo and Bugg Vokel

2.     ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO AGENDA: In Accordance with Section 54954.2(b) of the Government Code (Brown Act) an item may be added to the agenda. For more info on additions/deletions to the agenda visit https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov select code GOV and keyword 54954.2.

3.  PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment

4.  APPROVE MINUTES: Motion to approve May 14th Minutes and Paid bills; Motion was seconded by all.

5.  OLD BUSINESS:

*Gogolewski Contract: have seen no movement waiting on Gogolewski’s response.

*Pipe connection testing/homeowner self-reporting form; Action sub-committee consisting of Rick, Mike & Eileen will review the form and make decisions on how to proceed.

*New Director positions discussed.

*Washoe Generator progress completed

6.  NEW BUSINESS:

*Annual meeting; summarize financial position and new or pending projects and mention the impact Bill Briner had on the district.

*2nd winter operator: Action: subcommittee made up of Willie, Mike & Nelson will discuss Job description and wage.

*Water system telemetry: Discussed and in the process of converting to a radio signal

*Silvertip tank lot: Discussed, Action take a look at trees that are an immediate threat to     any of our structures Eileen volunteered to do the assessment.

*Montclair generator driveway: Paving was discussed.

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT: Sent out Bills, Backflow letters and Newsletters

WATER MANAGER’S REPORT: Contamination of water tank suspected at skyline from water runoff, looking into possible cause.
