Water Quality 6/14/25 Update
-7/11/2025-
The system was chlorinated and flushed again on July 10th after follow up testing.
-6/29/2025-
We’ve chlorinated the system again since we found Well #2 positive again. We shock-chlorinated Well #2 in accordance with Waterboards’ procedure, and re-chlorinated the system in accordance with our plan approved by Waterboards (Division of Drinking Water).
-6/14/2025-
The Talmont water system has been chlorinated following standard protocol after one routine and two repeat bacteriological samples turned positive for coliform. No E. coli was detected in any sample. The chlorine will dissipate over the next week.
