Fire knows no bounds, which makes fire safety everyone’s responsibility. One home without adequate defensible space threatens many others, it’s imperative everyone takes an active role to protect your home and your neighbor’s.

Please consider taking these actions this season:

Free curbside Chipping  

  • All piles need to be placed at the edge of the street with the cut ends of the vegetation facing the street
  • Vegetation/limbs cannot exceed six (6) inches in diameter
  • Pile should not exceed six (6) feet in height and six (6) feet in width
  • No pine needles, pine cones, stumps, boards, or dirt
  • Chips will be left onsite

Red Flag Warnings are initiated when:

  • High Fire Danger with increased probability of a quickly spreading fire in the area within 24 hours
